Biography

Alex Dahl (Alexandria Bockfeldt Dahl) was born in Oslo in 1982 to a Norwegian father and an American mother. She grew up in Oslo and is a native speaker of both Norwegian and English. She studied Russian, German and international studies in Oslo and Moscow. She earned a creative writing degree from Bath Spa University and a management degree from the University of Bath in the UK. She currently lives both in London and in Sandefjord, Norway. She has published short stories in the UK and in the US, but The Boy at the Door was her first novel.
